The company had rapidly outgrown its conventional telecommunications solution and required a flexible, open platform that would bring rich features and expandability to the company's telecommunications network.
The Project
Design and implement and Asterisk-powered VoIP switching solution connected to the carrier via SIP hand-off. Supply comprehensive dial plan design and implementation along with administrative training services so that the company could support its own growth path.
The Solution
Shelton | Johns designed a VoIP network solution that could rapidly replace the company's existing phone switch and provide an open-ended growth path for expansion. Shelton | Johns built and deployed an Asterisk VoIP server, interconnected the customer network with SIP dial tone from a local carrier and configured remote accessibility in the customer's firewall environment.
